Full job description

PAT Tester

LOCATION: ON-SITE - WV6 7EL

About Us:

C & M Global Ltd specialises in the export of textiles, second-hand children’s toys and end-of-line clearance stocks. We are looking for a proactive and hardworking individual to join our team.

The Role:

We are seeking reliable and detail-orientated PAT Testers to join our team in Seisdon, focusing on the testing of end of line and return stocks.

The role plays a key part in maintaining safety standards and supporting efficient stock turnaround.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on end of line and return stocks
Inspect products for damage, wear, or faults prior to testing
Accurately record test results and maintain clear documentation
Label and categorise tested stock appropriately
Identify and report faulty or non-compliant items
Work closely with warehouse teams
Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained
Follow internal compliance and health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

Previous PAT testing experience essential (certification desirable)
Good understanding of electrical safety standards
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
Organised and able to manage workload effectively
Basic IT skills for recording and reporting test results
Proactive and able to work independently
Eligibility to work in the UK
A positive, team-focused attitude
Flexibility to work overtime when needed

Hours:

Full-time: 37.5 hours, but overtime may be required - Monday to Friday
