Day Shift Only | Panama Shift Pattern | Up to £45,000

Looking for a maintenance role that offers a great work-life balance without compromising on earning potential?

We're seeking two skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our engineering team in a fast-paced production environment. This is a day shift only position, working a Panama shift pattern (06:00 start), giving you the benefit of every other weekend off and a predictable schedule.

Working Pattern

Day Shift Only
3-2-2 rotating Panama shift pattern
Average of 84 working hours per shift cycle
Standard start time: 06:00

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our production operation runs efficiently and safely. You'll be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
Maintain electrical systems to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
Manage tools, equipment and spare parts inventory
Maintain excellent GMP standards within the workshop and across the site
Develop a strong understanding of all machinery and production equipment
Work closely with Operations and support HACCP requirements
Manage contractor permits and ensure RAMS are adhered to
Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and compliance with company procedures
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Source parts and liaise with suppliers to achieve best value and availability
Provide engineering support across the operation as required

About You

You'll ideally have:

A recognised Engineering qualification
Strong electrical engineering skills and practical maintenance experience
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, solution-focused approach
Food Hygiene Level 1 certification

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

18th Edition qualification
HACCP Level 2
Food Hygiene Level 2
Lean Manufacturing knowledge or experience
