Security Officer (SIA Door Supervisor)

Job Description

GSS are looking to recruit a professional Security Officer to join our team in Suffolk assisting with various as and when requests for client venues/festivals etc. This position would suit a self employed security officer.

We are seeking a reliable individual with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering a high standard of customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and approachable security presence.
Monitor access and control entry and exit points.
Carry out searches when required.
Respond to incidents and deal with situations calmly and professionally.
Assist members of the public, visitors and staff.
Complete accurate incident and accident reports.
Follow company procedures and client instructions at all times.
Work effectively as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Smart, professional appearance.
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Successful completion of BS7858 screening.

Desirable

Previous experience in a customer-facing security role.
Good understanding of conflict management.
Experience completing written incident reports.
Access to own vehicle.
