Health Care Assistant required in Basingstoke area

Role and Responsibilities:

· Help with washing & dressing (Personal Care)

· Shopping & meal preparation

· Prompting with medication

· Support with daily routines

· Respite services

· Socialising and leisure activities

· Helping clients access the community

Job Description and Person Specification

Qualifications Required and Desirable Experience:

Mandatory Training in date
DBS must be on update service/Must be willing to undergo DBS Disclosure
Commitment to care certificate standards in first 3 months of employment
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Proven experience as a carer – or willing to be trained
A valid driver’s licence

Skills Required:

Mobility – ability to position and use mechanical or physical lifts for transfer where necessary or where service user has that equipment
Be compassionate and empathetic to our clients
Be willing to uphold the dignity of our clients
Commitment to health and safety
Well-organised and reliable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Lives within, or can commute to various areas where our clients are located
