We're looking for a talented and experienced Guarantee-level Audio Engineer to join our Audio team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Audio Engineer who is ready to take the next step in their career, taking ownership of audio systems on major productions while working with some of the most experienced engineers in the broadcast industry.
As a Guarantee-level Audio Engineer, you'll play a critical role in the preparation, configuration, operation, and delivery of complex broadcast audio systems across NEP's outside broadcast fleet, flypack facilities, and remote production environments.
You'll be trusted to take technical ownership of audio delivery on a wide range of productions, ensuring systems are prepared, configured, and operated to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the lead audio engineer on assigned outside broadcasts and live productions.
- Preparing, configuring, testing, and operating broadcast audio systems across OB trucks, flypacks, and remote production environments.
- Managing audio infrastructure including consoles, stageboxes, routing systems, communications, monitoring, and audio networking platforms.
- Supporting production teams to deliver high-quality audio solutions that meet client and editorial requirements.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively during live broadcasts.
- Working closely with Vision, VT, Camera, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Contributing to system upgrades, technical improvements, and new technology deployments.
- Maintaining technical documentation, configuration records, and engineering standards.
- Supporting and mentoring Audio Assistants and Audio Engineers as they develop their technical capability.

You'll work with:
- Large-format broadcast audio consoles
- Audio networking technologies including Dante, AES67, and ST 2110-30
- Broadcast communications and talkback systems
- Remote production workflows
- HD, UHD, and IP-based production environments
- Audio monitoring and loudness management systems
- Industry-leading technology from manufacturers including Calrec, Lawo, Riedel, RTS, Yamaha, and others
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to remain calm, organised, and decisive in fast-paced live environments.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience operating as an Audio Engineer within outside broadcast, live production, or broadcast facilities.
- Strong practical understanding of broadcast audio workflows and signal flow.
- Experience working with broadcast audio consoles and routing systems.
- Proven ability to fault-find and troubleshoot under live production pressures.
- Experience supporting complex live broadcasts and high-profile productions.
- Knowledge of audio networking technologies such as Dante, AES67, or ST 2110.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support the development of others.
