Role Details

Title: Family Solicitor
Department: Family - Divorce & Finances
Location: Onsite - Branch Office Hinckley
Working Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hours per week
Work pattern: 9:00am to 5:15pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Family Solicitor to join our Family Law
team at our branch office in Hinckley. This role is ideal for a Solicitor with up to 3 years
PQE who is looking to develop their experience in private family law, particularly
divorce and financial matters, within a supportive and forward-thinking legal practice.

While the focus of the role is on private family law, some exposure to public law would
be advantageous, as we hold a Legal Aid franchise, though this is not essential as
training will be given.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: NQ to 3 years PQE with some experience or training in private

family law, specifically divorce and financial remedy work.

Caseload Management: Ability to manage a varied caseload confidently under

supervision, assisting with everything from divorce and financial settlements to
children matters.

Advocacy Skills: Some advocacy exposure or willingness to develop

advocacy skills as part of the role.

Client Care: Excellent communication and client care skills, demonstrating

empathy and professionalism when advising clients.

Team Player: Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively as part of a busy

and supportive team.
