We are looking for an inspiring, forward-thinking leader to join the Corporate and Operational Services (COS) Senior Leadership Team heading up our Change Governance Teams. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive oversight and ensure seamless coordination across the Change Governance functions. This role encompasses a broad remit, spanning people and capability development, risk management, governance and assurance, strategic business planning and reporting, business support services and oversight of the Change Management Office.

Responsibilities

Brilliant Leadership:

as part of the Corporate and Operational Services (COS) leadership team, ensure a cohesive overall approach to achieving objectives, leading by example, demonstrating core values and role modelling the ethos of collective success
ensure alignment with strategic objectives and overall vision, defining clear roles and responsibilities and fostering a structure that supports collaboration, efficiency and continuous improvement

Strategic Business and Financial Planning:

work across the Agency to develop and prioritise long-term strategies that align with the Agencys goals and objectives. Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives

Governance and Assurance:

lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks, oversee risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and tracking benefits and efficiencies

Resource Management and Capability Building:

lead the development of our resourcing strategy including Strategic Workforce Planning and the efficient allocation of resources to ensure optimal productivity and performance

Communication:

communicate the COS narrative to a wide range of stakeholders. Ensuring clear and consistent messaging across the organisation

Change Management and Impact Analysis:

responsible at agency level for shaping, mapping and assessing the impact of COS on individuals, teams and our organisation

Business Support Services:

oversee the implementation of tailored business support to maintain the efficient and effective running of COS, supervising the single-entry point for all COS related queries.

Visa Applicants

Hybrid Working

Insolvency Service operates a hybrid working policy subject to business need, giving people the flexibility to choose when and where they work and collaborate with others.

Individuals are expected to work from one of the office locations stated in the advert to connect with their colleagues, as required by their role and business team needs. There is flexibility to split the working week, spending a minimum of 60% in the workplace, which includes the office, site visits, court etc.
