About the Role

The Vale Medical Practice is a forward-thinking, innovative and supportive training practice committed to delivering high-quality patient care whilst ensuring excellent work-life balance for our clinicians.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Paramedic Practitioner to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a progressive practice that embraces new ways of working and actively supports professional development, portfolio careers and leadership opportunities.

Key Information:

4–8 sessions per week (flexible and negotiable)
Competitive salary (dependent on qualifications, experience and prescribing status)

Permanent position (part-time or full-time considered)

Optional Extended Access Sessions:

Monday and Wednesday: 5.00pm – 8.00pm
Enhanced hourly rate available

About the Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will have the following:

Essential qualifications:

BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science or completion of a recognised Paramedic Degree Apprenticeship
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Paramedic
Legal entitlement to practise under the protected title of Paramedic
Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Up-to-date appraisal and revalidation requirements
Independent Prescriber qualification (desirable) or willingness to undertake prescribing training
Advanced Clinical Practice qualification or postgraduate study (desirable) or willingness to undertake further development
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance
Occupational health clearance and required immunisations
Full UK driving licence
Evidence of fitness to practise
Experience working in a similar role within primary care, Urgent Care, Community Services or Emergency Care settings
