Full job description

Boomer Industries is a long-established plastics manufacturing business supplying a wide range of high-quality products to customers across multiple sectors. We pride ourselves on strong customer partnerships, operational excellence, and a culture of continuous improvement. As part of ongoing growth and development, Boomer Industries is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant, reporting to the Financial Controller, to to provide support and assistance with all aspects with the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable, processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, dealing with queries and processing payments.
Accounts Receivable including credit control and issuing of invoices.
Assisting with tax returns, VAT, PAYE.
Bank Reconciliations, prepayments and accruals.
Produce weekly and monthly reports
To liaise with other departments
Assist with day to day administrations tasks and any other duties as required.
Assist with manning the main reception area.

Requirements:

GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Maths at Grade C or above
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Finance or similar field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
I.T. & Sage proficient
