Job Purpose: Due to continued growth within our prehung division, we are looking for a technically minded Sales Executive – Prehung Door Sets to join our Door Set team.
This is a fast-paced, commercially focused role where technical expertise and relationship management go hand in hand. As the primary point of contact for your customer portfolio, you will manage a high volume of enquiries and live projects, provide expert technical guidance while identifying opportunities to grow existing business and maximise customer value.
Working closely with builders' merchants, architects, specifiers, contractors and end users, you will become a trusted technical partner, supporting customers from initial enquiry through to manufacture and delivery. Your technical expertise will enable you to interpret specifications, complete accurate door set take-offs, prepare quotations and provide practical solutions that help customers successfully deliver their projects.

Working alongside the Prehung Sales Manager, who leads strategic new business development, this Sales Executive – Prehung Door Sets will focus on strengthening existing customer relationships, supporting project success and contributing to the continued growth of our prehung division through effective account development and commercial awareness.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical sales contact for an allocated portfolio of builders' merchants, contractors, architects, specifiers and key customer accounts.
- Build and develop long-term customer relationships through exceptional technical sales support and responsive account management.
- Manage a high volume of enquiries, quotations and live projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete accurate door and door set take-offs from specifications, schedules and architectural drawings.
- Prepare detailed quotations and provide expert technical guidance to support customers in selecting the right door set solutions.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts by understanding customer requirements, project pipelines and future opportunities.
- Manage projects from initial enquiry through to manufacture and delivery, working closely with Operations to ensure successful project completion.
- Support the Prehung Sales Manager by providing technical expertise on larger opportunities and key customer projects.
- Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, Production and Customer Services to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, quotations and project information while proactively following up enquiries and live opportunities.
- Develop a strong understanding of Deanta's products, industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Represent Deanta professionally, delivering exceptional service while contributing to the continued growth of the Door Set division.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a technical sales, account management, estimating or customer-facing commercial role within a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and commercially minded approach to developing customer relationships and driving sales growth
- Ability to complete accurate take-offs from door schedules, specifications and architectural drawings along with interpreting specifications and provide practical product solutions.
- Experience preparing accurate quotations and managing enquiries through to order placement.
- Proven background managing full sales lifecycle while simultaneously while maintaining exceptional accuracy within our accounts.
- A collaborative approach, with experience working closely alongside Estimating, Operations and Production teams.
Desirable:
- Experience working with door sets, doors, architectural ironmongery or other construction products.
- Knowledge of the construction or building products industry.
- Experience supporting builders' merchants, contractors or specification customers.
- GAI qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
