Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator

Flexible Hours | Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible hours

Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator to join our busy accounts team, supporting a diverse group of successful local businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied bookkeeping role within a friendly and supportive working environment. The position can be either full or part time depending to suit both the candidate and the needs of the busines.

We appreciate that everyone has different commitments, so we offer genuinely flexible working hours.

The Role

You will be responsible for a variety of bookkeeping and accounts administration duties, including:

- Purchase ledger

- Sales ledger

- Bank reconciliations

- Credit control

- Processing supplier invoices and customer payments

- General bookkeeping

- Assisting with VAT returns and maintaining financial records

- Maintaining accurate accounting records

- General office and accounts administration

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Have previous bookkeeping or accounts experience.

- Have a good working knowledge of accounting software (Xero experience would be an advantage but not necessary as training will be given).

- Be confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

- Be able to work independently as well as part of a friendly team.

- Be trustworthy, reliable and professional.

- Take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
