Job Description

We’re looking for an Agency Appointments Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the onboarding of intermediary firms and advisers, ensuring robust risk assessment and compliance from the outset.

You’ll lead a high-performing team, strengthen control frameworks, and work closely with stakeholders across the business to drive efficient, compliant and high-quality onboarding processes. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a regulated environment while supporting strong customer and business outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading, motivating and developing a team responsible for onboarding intermediary firms and advisers
Managing onboarding risk processes and applying robust control frameworks to support decision making
Assessing financial and business intelligence to recommend appropriate onboarding outcomes
Reviewing and enhancing operational controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
Overseeing quality checks, complaint handling, breach reporting and issue resolution
Analysing MI and performance data to improve service delivery, efficiency and customer outcomes
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and key business areas
Leading projects and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen risk management and onboarding processes

Who we’re looking for:

Proven experience within financial services, with a strong understanding of the UK market
Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, compliance frameworks and risk management principles
Experience managing or leading teams, with the ability to drive performance and development
Understanding of onboarding governance, intermediary structures and contractual arrangements
Ability to interpret financial and business data to support risk-based decision making
Experience improving processes, controls and operational efficiency
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels
Knowledge of systems and tools used in onboarding, due diligence and business intelligence
