Full job description

Salary: FTE - £25,621 per annum, Actual salary £22,800.43

Grade: CD, SCP 3

Contract: Fixed term

Hours: Term time only, 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrator who s our commitment to:

Outstanding communication – you’ll be confident and approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with parents, staff, visitors, and external agencies.

Efficiency and organisation – from managing front desk duties to maintaining accurate records, your attention to detail and ability to prioritise will help keep our school running smoothly.

Teamwork – you’ll work closely with colleagues across the school and contribute positively to our collaborative culture.

Discretion and professionalism – as a key member of our administrative team, confidentiality and integrity are essential.

Who we are looking for:

Experience working in a school or busy office environment is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.

Strong IT skills, including confidence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Microsoft 365).

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Calm, approachable, and flexible under pressure.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people.
