Oasis Academy Shirley Park Primary is looking for a professional, organised and personable Admin Officer with Attendance & Reception to join our friendly and committed team.

This is a varied role combining front-of-house reception responsibilities with attendance administration and wider school office support. You will be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, visitors and external agencies, helping to create a warm, welcoming and professional environment for our school community.

Key r
esponsibilities

Managing the school reception and welcoming visitors.
Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Maintaining pupil attendance records and monitoring daily attendance.
Following up absence and lateness with parents and carers.
Producing attendance reports and supporting attendance improvement initiatives.
Managing visitor sign-in procedures and safeguarding protocols.
Supporting admissions, pupil records and general school administration.
Assisting with communications, correspondence and office organisation.
Providing administrative support to leaders and teaching staff as required.

We are looking for someone who:

Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Can remain calm and professional in a busy front-office environment.
Has good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
Can build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding.
