As a Mid-weight Strategist at Imagination, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping to build the foundations for global brand activations of all shapes and sizes, for some of the biggest brands across the entertainment, sports, alcohol, fintech and automotive sectors.
Curious by nature, you’re driven to find the unique insights that will enable us to differentiate our clients’ experiences from competitors’, both in and out of category. You’re well versed in crafting creative briefs and strategic set ups that inspire original thinking among creative teams and client teams alike, but you’re also not afraid to go back to the fundamentals of research and analysis to do so. A competent copywriter, you know that less always means more and simplicity is key to getting even the most complex of ideas over the line.
This is an important position that straddles the line between our strategy and creative teams. You’ll have the drive, clarity and determination to help develop groundbreaking strategies and ideas that push Imagination’s creativity, to deliver inspiring and award-winning work for our clients.
Reporting to a Strategy director you will work with the other strategists and creatives to produce work that stands out in the Experience Economy.

Support the lead Strategist in planning and executing multi-layered research: primary, secondary, ethnographic, quant and qual
- Developing clear, compelling insights - that can drive inspiring creative platforms and groundbreaking ideas
- Develop customer journeys
- Identify and qualify strategic opportunities
- Develop concepts, ideas and solutions
- Support and contribute to planning, running and synthesising workshops
- Support in developing clear measurement criteria, working with data to report on effectiveness, develop insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with clients in presentations, pitches and workshops - building valued relationships
- Bring a diversity of thought, experience and perspective into the Imagination team

Solid experience in an agency environment, working across a range of clients
- Experience in planning experiential marketing, campaigns, social media, content and events
- Understanding of creative and design methodologies.
- An understanding of Design Thinking
- Curiosity and an open mind, always willing to dig a bit deeper

- Exceptional understanding of consumer, brands and category trends
- Solid experience in qual and quant research, including leading the methodology and carrying out the research
