From the north of Scotland to the south coast of England, our engineers are delivering smart metering solutions to thousands of businesses every day. As we continue to grow, we're looking for talented Dual Fuel Engineers to join our nationwide team.

If you're an experienced engineer looking for your next challenge and ready to develop your commercial metering skills, there's never been a better time to join Yü!

You will start the role as a Dual Fuel Engineer and within around 8 weeks you will be trained in warrant work and progress to an Elite Dual Fuel Engineer. Starting salary £38,110 progressing to £43,260 once upskilled.

You don’t need commercial experience
On call? Not here! We operate a rotating Monday-Friday shift pattern between 6am and 8pm, meaning your evenings and weekends stay yours.

This isn’t just another dual fuel position — it’s a chance to be part of a company that’s redefining what it means to be a metering engineer, offering industry leading training, progression and exceptional rewards.

If you’re technically skilled, customer-focused, and driven to deliver safe, high-quality work, we’d love to hear from Yü!

Elite Engineers:

Undertake friendly debt resolution visits to support customers.
Alternate between attending Warrants as the on-site engineer and acting as the Warrant Officer (always supported — never solo).

Non-Elite (Dual Fuel Only):

Focus purely on technical metering work — no Warrant or debt visits.

What we need from Yü

The right attitude! and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
Safety first. Safe installation, exchange, commissioning, removal, and maintenance of metering systems, associated equipment, and communication systems.
Able to deliver friendly, professional customer interactions, ensuring every visit reflects our values.
Compliance focussed. All health and safety regulations, metering standards, and company procedures.
Take ownership of stock, tools, and company vehicle.
Be collaborative. Working with colleagues and management to deliver team and business goals.
Be open to ongoing development through technical training and mentoring opportunities.

An experienced Smart Metering Dual Fuel Engineer
Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
UK Driving Licence
Pass a DBS check
