We're now looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team and play a key role in developing scalable, reliable, and innovative data solutions that support better business decisions across the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Data Engineer who enjoys taking ownership and delivering end-to-end solutions. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring high-quality, governed data is available for reporting and analytics.
Working closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and stakeholders across the business, you'll translate requirements into scalable technical solutions while driving improvements across our data platform.

Designing and building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines

Developing scalable data models and optimised SQL transformations

Monitoring and improving data quality, reliability, and performance

Delivering technical data projects from concept to production

Enhancing our Azure data platform using Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL

Implementing data security and governance controls

Collaborating with internal teams and third-party partners

Creating and maintaining technical documentation and data standards
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience delivering production-grade data engineering solutions
Strong Azure data platform expertise (Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics)
Advanced SQL skills including data modelling and optimisation
Experience using Python for data processing and automation
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD practices, and Agile delivery methods
Understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks
Ability to manage priorities, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
