WINQ is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior BIM Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled BIM professional to take a leading role in delivering complex projects across the residential, commercial, education, healthcare and infrastructure sectors.

The Role
As a Senior BIM Technician, you will be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality BIM models while supporting project teams throughout the design and construction process. You’ll work closely with Architects, Engineers, BIM Coordinators and Design Managers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with industry best practice.
This role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, improve BIM workflows and contribute to the company’s wider digital strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the production and coordination of high-quality BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Produce detailed technical drawings and construction documentation.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.
- Carry out clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks.
- Ensure projects comply with ISO 19650 standards and client BIM requirements.
- Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), project templates and digital standards.
- Manage project information within Common Data Environments (Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360 or equivalent).
- Support BIM Coordinators and Project Managers throughout project delivery.
- Mentor and support Graduate and Junior BIM Technicians.
- Develop Revit families, templates and project standards.
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Review BIM deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve BIM processes and digital workflows across the business.
RequirementsEssential
- 5+ years’ experience within a BIM Technician or Senior BIM Technician role.
- Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
- Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM projects.
- Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
- Excellent technical detailing skills.
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
- Experience working within Common Data Environments (ACC, BIM 360 or similar).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable
- Autodesk Certified Professional accreditation.
- Experience with Dynamo.
- Knowledge of Rhino, Civil 3D or Revit API.
- Experience delivering projects within residential, healthcare, commercial or education sectors.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Understanding of COBie, IFC and Asset Information Requirements.
- CIAT, CIOB or similar professional membership.
