Project Coordinator (Project Support & Administration)
Location: Worcester, hybrid working
Salary: £28,150 to £30,000 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday
Reports to: Project Manager
Company: Enviromontel
Be the person who keeps the project moving
Enviromontel is a leading flow monitoring, training and rescue services provider working across a range of industries, with a long record of safety excellence and real expertise in hazardous and unusual environments. We work in partnership with our clients to solve their strategic priorities and help them operate more safely and efficiently.
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our project team. This is the role that holds a project together between the manager who plans it and the crews who deliver it. Permits, purchase orders, RAMS, documentation, progress updates, awkward queries from site at half past four on a Friday: all of it comes through you. Get it right and everyone else can do their job.
We are growing quickly, so there is real scope here to develop and progress rather than sit still.
What the job involves
You will support the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager, building a detailed understanding of how our project delivery process works, and coordinating project activities, programming, equipment and information so that the right things are in the right place at the right time.
A significant part of the role is documentation and compliance. You will manage and apply for traffic management permits, create and process purchase orders for materials and equipment against set budgets, liaise with project facilitators to make sure everything is submitted correctly and on time, and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, RAMS, plans and reports.
You will also be a point of contact. That means liaising with partner organisations to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives, making sure client needs are met, communicating project status to everyone involved, and dealing with queries and issues from on-site staff. You will monitor project progress, raise anything that looks like it is going wrong with the Project Manager early enough to fix it, keep our CRM worksheets updated, and pick up ad hoc work on other projects across the business.
What we need from you
- Experience as a Project Coordinator or in a closely similar role
- At least two years of administrative experience
- Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and good planning and diary management
- Clear communication and the confidence to chase people and raise problems early
- The temperament to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Wastewater industry experience is an advantage but not something we expect, and no previous exposure to traffic management permits or RAMS is required: we will teach you both. What matters more is that you are a genuine team player, determined and persistent when something needs seeing through, and someone who shares information rather than sitting on it.
What you get
A salary of £28,150 to £30,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, a company pension, a yearly bonus, additional leave for years of service plus your birthday off, company events, a gym pass and free on-site parking.
Ready to apply?
If you are the sort of person who takes quiet pride in a project that runs smoothly because you made it run smoothly, we would like to hear from you. Apply with an up-to-date CV and we will come back to you promptly.
Pay: £28,150.00-£30,000.00 per year
