Full job description

Administration Assistant

We are looking for a part-time Administration Assistant to join the contracts team within our busy, award-winning commercial catering equipment company based in Paignton, Devon.

You will support the Post Contract Administrator with various duties, including:

Logging and dealing with warranty calls
Collating information relating to operation and maintenance manuals for customers
Creating professional looking documents using Microsoft packages and other computer programmes
Making and receiving phone calls to suppliers and customers
Scanning and filing documents
Keeping systems up to date with information

The ideal candidate will have a good level of English and Maths, together with general experience of using Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Excel and Word.

You must be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both verbally and in writing. You will also need to demonstrate accuracy when typing documents and checking your own work. The successful candidate should be versatile, able to work well as part of a team and independently, organised, and able to work under pressure.

This position may be suitable for someone looking for employment to fit around school hours, as days and hours are negotiable.

This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Working hours will fall between 8.30am and 5.00pm, with an immediate start available.
