Lead Installer & Operations Coordinator – Pools & Temporary Structures
Salary: £29,000 basic | OTE £33,000 (including up to £4,000 annual performance bonus, paid quarterly)
About Us
At Primary Pools, we install temporary swimming pools in primary schools across England, giving thousands of children the opportunity to learn a life-saving skill.
Every week, our teams travel across the country building fully operational swimming pool facilities inside school grounds. It's a unique job, and one we're incredibly proud of.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a practical, organised and ambitious person to help lead our installation team.
You do not need swimming pool experience.
If you've worked with marquees, temporary structures, events, construction or another hands-on industry, we'll teach you everything you need to know about our specialist equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a hands-on leadership role.
You'll spend part of your time on site leading builds and supporting the team, and part of your time planning future projects and making sure everything runs smoothly for other crews
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading pool and marquee installations across England.
- Leading takedowns and moving pools to their next school.
- Planning installation schedules and coordinating labour.
- Carrying out site surveys before installations.
- Managing installation teams and contractors.
- Ensuring every school is ready to start lessons on time.
- Looking after company equipment and vehicles.
- Solving problems on site when they arise.
- Helping improve how we work as the business grows.
No two weeks are the same.
