Nursery – Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from £27,976 full time equivalent

Location - Cheshunt, Waltham Cross

Shifts- 5am - 12pm (or similar hours)

Hours- Monday- Friday, 30-40 hours per week

We’re looking for an Early Years Housekeeper to join our Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool. The nursery is situated close to Theobalds Train Station in a beautiful Edwardian building with state-of-the-art facilities, Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool is an Ofsted rated 'Good' nursery providing exceptional care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The Role

As an Early Years Housekeeper, you will keep the nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, colleagues, and families. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day, carry out daily laundry as required, and be prepared to help with additional nursery tasks where required, such as supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
Great communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents
