About us:

Epwin Group is the leading manufacturer and distributor of energy efficient and low maintenance building products for the Repair, Maintenance and Improvement (“RMI”), social housing and new build markets in the UK. The business unit comprises a national network of c.80 distribution depots and has revenues in the order of £70m.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales & Commercial Specialist who will lead and oversee our reporting processes and design and create reporting suites available to the wider business. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of reports. This will require the successful candidate to work closely with key stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver insights that drive business decisions.

The role will also be responsible for the ownership and management of our CRM data and customer pricing. It is essential that all data is accurate, up to date, and maintained in a timely manner to support effective business operations and decision-making.

Key Accountabilities:

Produce and distribute regular business reports to stakeholders across the organisation, with recipients ranging from branch teams to the Managing Director.
Define reporting requirements and ensure dashboards and reports meet the needs of business stakeholders
Ensure all customer pricing is accurate and up to date
Manage all control desks, reports, data drills and business metric access
Manage and maintain CRM data to ensure the accuracy of both system-generated reports and sales team performance reports
Support sales and commercial activities through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
Ensure all reports are in line with Commercial requirements and business needs

Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

Possess a high skill level in Excel, leveraging advanced functions and features to analyse data and create complex reports
Experience using Power BI or similar
Experience of developing complex reports
A background in analytics within a busy environment
Lean Techniques Awareness & Understanding
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

Commercially astute – Demonstrates strong business acumen and the ability to make informed, strategic decisions that prioritise and enhance the profitability and long-term sustainability of the business
Detail orientated – able to deal with large amounts of data without getting ‘lost in the detail’, whilst ensuring the high-level objective / task is delivered
Effective communication – clear and concise written, spoken, ability to communicate at all levels
High Standards – demonstrating a motivation to improve insight and thereby making a real difference
Integrity and trust – demonstrating a sense of commitment to openness, honesty, loyalty and high standards in undertaking the role
Time management - have ability to prioritise tasks and projects
