About the Opportunity
An exciting new SPAR store is opening soon, and we're looking for enthusiastic people to join our opening team!
Our brand-new store will feature a fantastic fresh food offering, including a brand-new deli counter, alongside everything our customers know and love from SPAR.
Whether you're passionate about customer service, preparing fresh food, leading a team, or enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.

- Multi-Skilled Retail Assistants

Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
Depending on the role, you could be:
- Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
- Preparing and serving fresh food from our exciting new deli counter.
- Preparing hot food and food-to-go products to the highest standards.
- Operating tills and handling customer transactions accurately.
- Replenishing stock and ensuring shelves and displays are fully stocked and well presented.
- Maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.
- Supporting with deliveries, stock rotation and reducing waste.
- Leading, coaching and motivating colleagues to deliver exceptional service (Supervisor and Deli Supervisor roles).
- Taking responsibility for maintaining high operational standards and supporting the day-to-day running of the store or deli department.

For our Supervisor and Deli Supervisor roles, previous leadership experience within retail or food service would be an advantage. Previous retail or food preparation experience is beneficial for our assistant roles but isn't essential, as full training will be provided.
