About The Role

At Arco, we're looking for a commercially driven Territory Account Manager with an excellent growth mindset to play a pivotal role in our continued success in the South East, developing our existing portfolio, and winning new accounts along the South Coast of England.

As our Territory Account Manager, you’ll behave like a business owner and have the freedom and accountability to shape your territory strategy — increasing our share of wallet through deeper product and category penetration, identifying new opportunities and winning customers from the competition. You’ll build a strong, sustainable pipeline, develop relationships at multiple levels within customer organisations and use a value-based approach to deliver solutions that genuinely make a difference.

The role is targeting profitable growth, longer-term customer value and winning the right business – it is not about chasing transactional volume. If you’re an ambitious PPE or Health & Safety sales professional who thrives on winning business, building relationships and delivering measurable results, this could be your next big opportunity.

This role is field based and remote working and will involve a lot of travel across your territory, which covers the south coast from Portsmouth to Rye and up as far as Crawley.

Key responsibilities include:

Driving profitable and sustainable revenue growth within your territory whilst creating long-term value
Increasing share of wallet within the existing portfolio of customers through increased product category penetration and promoting value-based sales
Building and strengthening strong multi-level customer relationships whilst identifying and engaging new points of contact
Identifying target accounts and acquiring new business by winning competitor held customers
Building sustainable pipeline opportunities
Balancing commercial outcomes with customer service excellence
Protecting margin using Own Brand and PROS pricing by managing the pricing strategy effectively
Maintaining CRM discipline and delivering accurate forecasting

The ideal Territory Account Manager will be/have:

A growth mindset, with a proven track record of delivering profitable growth through account management and new business acquisition
A focus on profitable growth over transactional volume
An excellent relationship builder, with proven of experience of identifying and developing key contacts within organisations across procurement, operations and HSE
Accountable for their performance, pipeline and forecasting
Highly resilient and able to drive momentum in a competitive environment where success is constantly measured
Knowledge of health and safety related services, products and markets
A full UK Driving License
