We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at The Rowe Vets - Wotton on a full-time basis.

Wotton-under-Edge Surgery and MRI Centre is situated 10 minutes from Junction 14 of the M5 with easy access to Bristol. We are a friendly, supportive team working to a high clinical standard. You'll be joining a busy three-vet first opinion practice, seeing a wide variety of interesting cases.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Five days per week with 8-hour shifts between 8:00am and 7:30pm

1 in 6 weekends at our Bradley Stoke Hospital, working Saturday and Sunday 8-hour shifts with time off in lieu

General Responsibilities

Running nurse clinics

Assisting with our feline radioactive iodine unit

Supporting MRI procedures and spinal anaesthesia

Assisting with surgical and dental procedures

Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS

Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
