Guest Service Assistant - Casual contract

Guest Service Assistant - Covering Night and Day shifts as required

Lighthouse Hotel Management are recruiting for the exciting role of Casual Guest Service Assistant at the Holiday Inn Express Cambourne - Cambridge West. The successful applicant for this role will deliver excellent customer service and have strong administration and computer skills with a good telephone manner, have a positive and confident ‘can do' attitude and be willing to learn. You will be a team player to assist in all areas of the front of house operation.

What Are We Looking For?

We're looking for an individual who has;

A great personality and be genuine, approachable and attentive
A proven track record in a similar role
Good organisation, communication and planning skills gained through previous experience

SHIFTS - as per rota

Early - 07:00 - 15:30
Late - 15:00 - 23:30
Night - 23:00 - 07:30

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude.
Desire to learn and develop.
Strong communicator that loves to chat to our guests.
Someone who comes to work with a smile and want to make sure everyone around you leaves with a smile.
Smart professional appearance
A sense of humour

NICE TO HAVE:

Hotel reception experience.
Bar & Restaurant experience
A good working knowledge of hotel systems is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work under pressure independently.
Basic kitchen experience.
