Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled IT Support Manager to lead our information technology support team and oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role is vital in ensuring seamless technology operations, safeguarding data security, and providing exceptional technical support across all departments. As an energetic leader, you will drive strategic initiatives, optimize system performance, and foster a proactive approach to IT management. Your expertise will empower the organization to leverage technology effectively while maintaining a secure and resilient network environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the IT support team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Oversee server management, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Server, Linux systems, and virtualization platforms such as VMware and vSphere.
Manage network infrastructure components including LAN, WAN, Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points to ensure optimal connectivity and security.
Implement and monitor information security protocols to protect organizational data against threats; manage network security measures such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or cyber incidents.
Coordinate system engineering projects involving cloud services like AWS and Azure; utilize tools such as SolarWinds for network monitoring and ServiceNow or Jira for ticketing and project tracking.
Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software applications—including Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint—and remote access software solutions.
Conduct analysis of network performance metrics; troubleshoot complex issues related to DHCP, IIS, SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, and other core systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades, software development initiatives, and infrastructure improvements while adhering to ITIL best practices.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems configurations, security policies, incident reports, and compliance records.

Skills

Extensive experience in server management with proficiency in Windows Server environments and Linux operating systems.
Strong knowledge of information security principles including network security protocols and disaster recovery planning.
Expertise in managing network infrastructure such as LAN/WAN configurations using Cisco routers/switches; firewall management; VPNs; DHCP; DNS; IIS; SQL databases; Azure cloud services; AWS cloud platform.
Skilled in systems engineering with experience deploying virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds; ticketing platforms like ServiceNow; project management tools including Jira.
Proven leadership abilities with supervising experience in technical teams; excellent organizational skills; effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly; strong problem-solving skills combined with time management capabilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications—Word, PowerPoint, Excel—and collaboration platforms like SharePoint for documentation and team coordination.
Experience supporting desktop environments with Windows 10/11; configuring remote access solutions; managing Active Directory accounts efficiently.
