This is a new and crucial role within the Diva team. The successful candidate will be given full exposure to all areas of the agency to fully understand the services and value we offer.

This role will focus on public sector lead generation to actively contribute towards achieving the company’s new business targets through proactively generating new business leads, pursuing those leads and supporting Diva’s tender responses alongside its strategic marketing aims.

You will contribute towards researching new markets and sector opportunities in addition to producing and executing proactive plans to access new markets and sectors. Responsibilities will also include assisting with marketing of the agency, contributing to writing of case studies and other creative ideas to increase awareness of the Diva brand and working closely with the Creative and Marketing Communications teams to take advantage of any opportunities, referrals through projects delivered.

The successful candidate will be required to make full use of AI tools and technologies to support outreach, new lead generation and targeting prospective clients. Experience in the use of tools such as Claude, Gemini and HubSpot are essential for this role.

The role - the individual's key responsibilities will include:

Produce target lists of potential new clients based on matching the agency’s skill set with established client needs using our CMS, hubspot and Claude.
Approach potential new clients through email, LinkedIn etc. to secure target-driven meetings.
Maintain regular contact with leads, with a view to establishing strong positive relationships with commissioning organisations and the individuals who have commissioning responsibility.
Meet agreed targets set at the beginning of each quarter - outreach, meetings booked, Linkedin posts and connections.
Produce reports through CMS including summaries of contacts made, market intelligence gathered, summary of progress against targets, conversion rates
Take briefs from potential clients.
Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to potential new clients as required.
Support the business development team towards converting active leads into live work.
Working with the MD in research and identify new business development opportunities.
Proactively assist with the marketing of diva with the MD and wider team
Write content and case studies that can be used to gain more business or strengthen the awareness of the diva brand through various platforms including Linkedin.

Preparing Tenders and supporting access to new markets and sectors

Research tender portals to identify potential opportunities
Work with the wider team to pull together tender responses and directly contribute content for bids
Participate in creative planning sessions to develop bid responses
Support business growth into new markets and sectors by researching potential customers and identifying routes into those customers
Preparing promotional collateral as required

Key attributes:

Sales or business development background
Experience in using LinkedIn as a sales tool
Hubspot/CRM experience
AI prompting and experience of using Claude and other AI tools
Business Acumen
Hardworking, organised, enthusiastic, ambitious and proactive
Strong written skills
Detail oriented
Able to think creatively and articulate ideas
Able to work competently in a deadline-driven environment
Keen to learn and develop skills

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
