About the Role:

Leeds has become one of the United Kingdom's most important centres for healthcare technology, clinical research and digital transformation. At Mednotic Health Technologies Ltd, we help healthcare organisations improve patient services through better systems, clearer processes and more effective use of clinical data.

We are looking for a Lead Clinical Business Analyst who can take ownership of complex healthcare technology projects from initial discovery through to implementation. You will work closely with clinical teams, operational leaders, technical specialists and external stakeholders to translate real-world healthcare needs into practical system and process improvements.

You will not simply document requirements. You will challenge assumptions, identify operational risks and help shape solutions that are safe, efficient and suitable for frontline healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Requirements Analysis:

Lead workshops with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders to identify business needs, system requirements and service improvement opportunities.

Process Improvement:

Review existing clinical and administrative workflows. Identify delays, duplication, system gaps and areas where technology can improve efficiency and service quality.

Solution Definition:

Translate complex healthcare requirements into clear business processes, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Management:

Build strong working relationships with clinicians, project managers, system suppliers, operational leaders and technical teams. Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Project Leadership:

Provide analytical leadership across multiple workstreams. Support delivery planning, risk management, change control and implementation readiness.

Data and Reporting:

Use operational and clinical data to support decision-making, validate requirements and measure the success of implemented changes.

Team Support:

Mentor Business Analysts and Junior Analysts. Review documentation, provide practical guidance and help maintain high standards across the analysis function.

Testing and Implementation:

Support user acceptance testing, system validation, training preparation and post-implementation reviews to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, with significant exposure to healthcare, clinical systems, digital health or public sector transformation projects.

Healthcare Knowledge:

A strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, patient pathways or health information systems.

Business Analysis Skills:

Experience producing process maps, requirements documents, user stories, business cases, gap analyses and implementation plans.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Confidence working with clinicians, technical teams, project managers and senior operational stakeholders.

Methodologies:

Practical experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery environments.

Tools:

Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Power BI, Miro or similar business analysis and collaboration platforms.

Communication:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in a clear and structured way.

Mindset:

You are analytical, organised and commercially aware. You can balance clinical priorities, technical limitations and project deadlines while keeping the needs of users and patients at the centre of your work.

Pay: £5,000.00-£6,000.00 per month
