Job Role: Business Development Executive

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 pa (£55,000 OTE)

Hours: 45hrs per week

About the Role

PMG, part of the Enovert Group, is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to help drive the next stage of our growth.

This is a genuine new business role, focused on identifying opportunities, opening new accounts and developing long-term customer relationships across the South-West.

Reporting into the Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new opportunities through proactive prospecting, following up enquiries, arranging customer meetings and converting opportunities into long-term business.

Initially, your focus will be promoting our Road Sweeping and Tanker Services, with the opportunity to develop into the wider environmental services offered by PMG Services as your experience grows.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of winning new business, thrives on meeting new people and wants to build a successful career within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, lead generation, organic growth and customer referrals.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using proactive prospecting.
Arrange and attend customer meetings across the South-West.
Develop relationships with Site Managers, Buyers, Procurement Teams and key decision makers.
Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
Negotiate and convert new business opportunities.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager to achieve ambitious sales and growth targets.
Record all sales activity accurately within the CRM system.
Support the transition of new customers to the operational teams while remaining a senior commercial contact.
Develop a strong understanding of PMG Services' Road Sweeping, Tanker and Environmental Services.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Previous experience in a business development or sales role.
A genuine passion for winning new business.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude, target driven.
Organised and capable of managing your own workload.
Comfortable making outbound sales calls and arranging face-to-face meetings.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Experience within waste management, environmental services, construction, drainage, plant hire, facilities management or other industrial service sectors.
Experience using CRM software.
Knowledge of road sweeping, tanker services or waste operations.
