Full job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and detail-focused Office Cleaner to clean a professional office premises three times per week.

This is a part-time key holder position, so the successful applicant must be responsible, punctual and able to work independently to a high standard. Previous cleaning experience would be preferred, but it is not essential as guidance can be provided.

The role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming working environment.

Working Hours

Monday, Wednesday and Friday
3 hours per shift
An additional 2 hours per calendar month will be required for detailed cleaning tasks
Cleaning can start no earlier than 6:00pm
Cleaning must be completed before the office reopens, with the latest start time being 5:00am
Some flexibility for occasional additional work would be helpful

Key Responsibilities

General office cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces
Cleaning toilets, kitchen areas and communal spaces
Emptying bins and following recycling procedures where required
Restocking items such as toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels where needed
Carrying out detailed cleaning tasks as scheduled
Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
Reporting any maintenance issues, damages or concerns to management
Locking and securing the premises after cleaning when required

Requirements

Must be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to communicate in English to a competent standard, particularly for safety instructions and site communication
Previous office or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
Must have the legal right to work in the UK
Must be comfortable with the responsibility of being a key holder
A flexible and professional attitude would be an advantage

Pay

Paid monthly by bank transfer
Please note: this is not a cash-in-hand position

We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional and takes pride in keeping an office clean and presentable. The successful applicant will be trusted to work alone, follow instructions and maintain high cleaning standards on every visit.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
