⭐ Role Responsibilities – Service & Repairs Engineer

As a Domestic Gas Service & Repairs Engineer, you will:

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and reactive repairs on domestic gas boilers and central heating systems within social housing properties.
Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to restore heating and hot water services.
Undertake annual boiler servicing and landlord gas safety inspections in accordance with Gas Safe regulations.
Replace faulty components including pumps, valves, radiators, thermostats, expansion vessels, and boiler parts.
Complete plumbing repairs associated with domestic heating systems where required.
Record all work accurately using handheld devices and company systems.
Identify follow-on works and report additional defects where necessary.
Deliver excellent customer service by communicating professionally with residents and respecting their homes.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Gas Safe regulations, health and safety legislation, and company procedures.
Manage your daily workload efficiently while meeting service level agreements and first-time fix targets.

⭐ Ideal Candidate

Valid ACS qualifications and current Gas Safe registration.
Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
Proven experience carrying out domestic gas servicing, fault finding, and reactive repairs.
Experience working within social housing or domestic residential properties.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Able to work independently while managing a busy daily schedule.
Committed to delivering safe, high-quality workmanship and maintaining full regulatory compliance.
