Full job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate General Practitioners to join our team at Standish Medical Practice for up to 6 sessions per week. Days to be discussed at interview stage. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, conducting routine check-ups, and diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions including home visits and duty sessions. Our General Practitioner will work closely with patients of all ages, from children to seniors, and will be expected to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans to address various medical conditions, including those related to public health.
- Provide routine check-ups
- Perform clinical research to stay current with the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and specialists, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize anatomical knowledge to diagnose and treat patients effectively.
- Provide care to patients in various settings such as care homes and home visits.
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and treatment options.

Skills:

- Strong patient care skills with the ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Experience with home care, hospice care, and senior care.
- Knowledge of public health and the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
- Experience with medication administration and the ability to manage patient medications effectively.
- Strong clinical research skills with the ability to stay current with the latest medical knowledge.
- Proficiency in medical imaging procedures, including X-rays and EKGs.
- In-depth anatomy knowledge with the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
- Experience working General Practice is essential for this role
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a variety of settings.

Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
