Full job description

Location: Newbury or London + Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What you’ll do

Key responsibilities:

Review and optimise end-to-end collections treatment paths, from pre-arrears through to debt sale, ensuring effective and efficient customer contact strategies.
Analyse customer journeys to identify gaps, improve outcomes, and ensure alignment with policy and operational feasibility.
Leverage data to segment and profile customer behaviour, generating actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Partner with analytics and MI teams to define data requirements, validate assumptions, and deliver robust, reproducible insights.
Identify and quantify optimisation opportunities across channels, including digital self-serve, eligibility criteria, and referral strategies.
Support the delivery of strategic initiatives through testing, implementation planning, and maintaining clear documentation, roadmaps, and governance.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (including cure rates, cashflow, and conversion), providing clear performance insights and recommendations.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent data interpretation, track outcomes, manage risks, and continuously improve collections performance through test-and-learn approaches.

Who you are

Experience in collections, credit, payments strategy, operational MI, or commercial analytics (telecom/financial services preferred).
Strong analytical skills in segmentation, profiling, trend analysis, hypothesis testing, and insight delivery.
Proficient with data tools: Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau; SAS/Python a plus.
Able to turn insights into actionable strategies and support cross-functional teams.
Skilled in documentation: requirements, governance, measurement, and performance reports.
Effective stakeholder management and team alignment.
Proven experience creating business cases and tracking benefits.
