Agricultural Sales Representative - South Molton

Are you passionate about agriculture and enjoy building relationships with people? Whether you're an experienced Agricultural Sales Representative or someone with a farming or agricultural background looking to move into sales, this is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, family-run dealership with over 35 years of experience.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Agricultural Sales Representative to take over an established and successful sales territory in North Devon. You'll benefit from an existing customer base while having the opportunity to develop new business and grow your own portfolio.

Representing some of the industry's leading machinery brands, you'll become a trusted adviser to farmers, contractors and rural businesses, helping them find the right equipment to meet their needs.

What you'll be doing

Managing an established sales territory across North Devon.
Negotiate sales agreements, ensuring favourable terms for both the client and company.
Developing strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Identifying new business opportunities and expanding your customer base.
Demonstrating agricultural machinery and advising customers on the most suitable solutions.
Preparing quotations, processing orders and following sales through to completion.
Maintaining accurate customer records using our CRM system.
Working closely with our service and parts departments to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

About you

You'll be someone who enjoys meeting people, is motivated by achieving results and has a genuine interest in agriculture. Ideally, you'll have:

Experience in agricultural machinery sales or a similar customer-facing sales role, or
A practical farming or agricultural background with the ambition to build a career in sales.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational skills.
Confidence working independently while also being part of a supportive team.
Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems (or a willingness to learn).
A full UK driving licence.
