Overview

Join our dynamic team as a full-time Shop Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a professional and approachable manner
Provide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction
Maintain store merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and visually appealing
Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
Upsell products and promotions to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences
Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, assisting with stock replenishment, and conducting regular stock counts
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and ensure smooth store operations
Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information or directing calls as needed
Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods

Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
Excellent organizational skills to keep the store tidy, stocked, and visually appealing
Effective time management to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently throughout shifts
