Overview

Are you a new graduate that is passionate about engaging audiences and crafting compelling stories across digital platforms? Do you love cocktails? We’re seeking a dynamic Social Media and Marketing Assistant to join our small team based in St. Albans! In this paid role, you will be at the forefront of our brand’s online presence, managing our social media channels, creating engaging content, and supporting our PR initiatives. Duties

Manage and curate content across various social media platforms, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
Develop innovative social media campaigns that align with marketing goals and resonate with target audiences.
Assist in creating multimedia content such as graphics, videos, and written posts to enhance brand storytelling.
Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases, coordinating media outreach, and maintaining positive relationships with media contacts.
Monitor online conversations and respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries to foster community engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital channels and promotional materials.
Track campaign results and prepare reports to measure success, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize future initiatives.

Qualifications

Strong interest in social media management, digital marketing, or related fields.
Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
Basic understanding of public relations principles and media outreach strategies.
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience or coursework in marketing, communications, or related disciplines is a plus.
Positive attitude with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

This is an office-based role in St Albans, so you will be required to be on-site every day.

The role is 30-hours a week on a pro-rata salary of £24,800 (37.5 hours) - which is £19,840. A great opportunity for a new graduate looking to gain valuable experience with a fun and growing cocktail brand.

The role may require occassional evening and weekend work and may also require travelling within the UK (for events).

Pay: £24,800.00 per year
