ROLE OVERVIEW:

Role Overview

JA Mar Hall is seeking a proactive and ambitious Sales Manager to support the resort’s commercial growth through local proactive sales activity and relationship development.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role will focus on generating new business opportunities within local corporate, leisure, and events markets while building strong relationships within the surrounding business community.

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging hospitality sales professional looking to develop within a luxury resort environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proactive Local Sales Activity

Generate new business through proactive local sales calls, networking, and relationship building
Identify opportunities within local corporate, leisure, entertainment and events markets
Support the development of local partnerships and community engagement opportunities
Conduct site visits and client meetings to promote the resort

Business Development Support

Support the Director of Sales in driving proactive sales activity and market presence
Maintain strong relationships with local businesses and key contacts
Represent JA Mar Hall at networking events and local business functions
Assist with sales initiatives, promotions, and lead generation activity

Sales Coordination

Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipelines, and client communication
Support reporting and sales administration requirements
Collaborate with the Sales Office team to ensure smooth handover of secured business

About You:

Previous experience within proactive hotel sales, hospitality, or business development role
A proactive and relationship focused approach
Strong communication and networking skills
Commercial awareness and confidence engaging with clients
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Motivated to develop within luxury hospitality sales

Growth in local corporate and events business
Strong relationships established within the local market
Consistent proactive sales activity and pipeline generation
Effective collaboration with the wider commercial team
