Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be integral to the development of architectural projects, contributing creative ideas and technical expertise from concept through to detailed design. You will collaborate closely with senior architects and project teams to deliver inspiring, sustainable, and functional architectural solutions. Responsibilities

Assist in developing design concepts, sketches, and presentations using software such as SketchUp, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Prepare detailed drawings and models utilizing AutoCAD and Revit to support project documentation.
Contribute to the creation of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes and standards.
Support project management tasks including scheduling, coordination with consultants, and tracking project milestones.
Participate in client meetings and site visits, providing technical input and documenting site conditions.
Collaborate with team members to refine designs, resolve technical issues, and ensure seamless project delivery.
Maintain organized digital files and records for all project phases, adhering to firm standards.

Experience

A recognized Part 2 qualification in Architecture or related field.
Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is essential.
Hands-on experience with SketchUp, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite for visualization and presentation purposes.
Knowledge of construction processes and building regulations gained through internships or previous roles.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and contractors.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
