About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Data Analyst / Junior Data Developer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career who has an IT-related degree with a specialization in Data, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
The successful candidate will have foundational knowledge of Python, SQL, HTML, and CSS and a passion for working with data to solve business problems. You will work closely with experienced team members to develop data solutions, create reports, and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining databases and data solutions.
- Extract, clean, and analyze data using SQL and Python.
- Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and business insights.
- Help automate routine reporting and data-processing tasks.
- Assist with developing and maintaining web-based interfaces using HTML and CSS.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Monitor data quality and help ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Document processes, reports, and technical solutions.
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of existing systems.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
- Python
- SQL
- HTML
- CSS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
- Understanding of database design principles.
- Familiarity with JavaScript.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Internship, placement year, or project experience involving data analysis or software development.
