Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Website and App Developer to lead the transformation of our existing digital platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for redesigning and enhancing our website and mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across all devices. Duties
- Analyse existing and competitors website and app architecture to identify areas for improvement and transformation
- Develop, test, and deploy new features using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Ruby on Rails or.NET
- Implement back-end functionalities with languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, or VBA, ensuring robust performance and security
- Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom APIs to enhance platform capabilities
- Manage version control using tools such as GitHub, SVN, or Git, maintaining code integrity throughout development cycles
- Utilise cloud services like AWS or Azure for deployment, scalability, and maintenance of applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive application development aligned with organisational goals
- Conduct code reviews, optimise database interactions with SQL or MySQL, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly
- Document development processes and provide ongoing support for application updates and enhancements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-stack web development with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous projects
- Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL (including MySQL), Python, Java, C#, C++, Ruby on Rails,.NET frameworks, and APIs
- Familiarity with front-end development frameworks and responsive design principles
- Experience working with version control systems such as GitHub, SVN or Git
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure for deployment and infrastructure management
- Strong understanding of application development lifecycle from conception through deployment and maintenance
- Ability to work effectively within Linux environments and utilise command-line tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Relevant qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering are desirable but not essential

Pay: £33,479.38-£88,853.10 per year
