Full job description

Are you organised, good with numbers and looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in a busy finance office?

We're looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join our friendly team in Bourne. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and enjoys working with numbers and administration.

No previous finance experience is necessary – we'll provide full training. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a keen eye for detail.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced finance team, you'll support the day-to-day running of the accounts department within a busy construction business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Processing purchase invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Assisting with accounts administration
Learning and assisting with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
Maintaining accurate financial records
Processing financial information using Sage 50 accounting software
Supporting month-end finance tasks
General finance and office administration

Enjoys working with numbers
Has excellent attention to detail
Is organised and reliable
Has good computer skills and is confident learning new software
Can work accurately and maintain confidentiality
Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
