Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced International Trade and Market Development Manager to lead our global expansion efforts. This role involves developing strategic international markets, fostering key trade relationships, and driving sales growth across diverse regions. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of international trade regulations, market analysis, and utilise CRM tools effectively to optimise outreach and engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to shape our organisation’s global footprint and contribute to sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive international trade strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Identify emerging markets and evaluate potential opportunities for expansion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas partners, distributors, and clients.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with international trade laws and customs regulations.
Utilise Salesforce and CRM software to manage client information, track sales pipelines, and optimise customer engagement.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
Lead negotiations on trade agreements, pricing, and contractual terms with international stakeholders.
Organise participation in international trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote organisational offerings.
Monitor performance metrics to evaluate the success of market development initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements

Proven experience in international trade, market development or related roles.
Strong knowledge of global trade regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Salesforce and CRM software for managing client relationships and sales processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively across diverse cultures.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and develop actionable insights.
Organised, proactive, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous but not essential.
Degree in Business Administration, International Relations or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
