Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our bustling hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a solid background in food service and hospitality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant team, ensure high standards of food safety and quality, and contribute to creating memorable guest experiences. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with prior supervisory or restaurant experience who are eager to lead by example and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring smooth service delivery
Oversee food preparation and presentation standards in line with company policies
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise efficiency
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Assist with training staff on service procedures, food safety protocols, and customer engagement
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly
Coordinate with kitchen staff regarding food production schedules and special dietary requirements
Monitor daily operations to uphold quality standards in service, hospitality, and overall guest experience
Support the recruitment process by participating in interviews and onboarding new team members
Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, motivation, and professional development

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Experience in food service roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food production and hospitality standards
Previous experience of 2 years in hotel or culinary environments is desirable
Good communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour
Ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team atmosphere
