Full job description

Post Title: Sales Support Administrator

Reporting to: Sales Team Manager

Prime Objective: To provide sales and administration support to the Sales Team Manager and Territory Account Manager, Sales Director and Managing Director in the sales department focusing on growth and retention of existing accounts.

Key Areas of Responsibility – The Role

· Effectively and efficiently manage the sales inbox.

· Pipeline management and ensure quote follow up.

· Assist the Sales Team Manager and Territory Account Manager with general admin, enquiries and follow up tasks.

· To provide telephone support to the Sales Team.

· To attend monthly sales meetings, providing relevant updates on accounts

· To ensure customer requirements and expectations are met.

· To produce daily sales picking lists and delivery notes

· To assist with allocated customer accounts, with a view to retain and grow

· To ensure that performance is in accordance with all standards held by the company

· To support all staff involved in the operation and internal administration systems.

· Contact existing customers to upsell more products/ increase current lines

Sales Support Administrator – The person

· High standard of IT literacy, good standard of general education including literacy and numeracy

· Excellent telephone communication skills.

· Flexible attitude and ability to handle changing priorities.

· Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively; focusing on accuracy and attention to detail

· Capability to follow instructions, to work under pressure and to meet deadlines whilst maintaining an exceptionally high standard of work

· Motivated self-starter able to work on own initiative with high energy, flexibility and adaptability, combined with the ability to work as a team

· Driven by a desire to make a difference and able to demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement

· Excellent customer focus and service skills.
