About the Role:

London is one of the UKs leading commercial centres, and at Kaka Chemical Supply Services, we bring that same professional and structured approach to chemical supply operations. We support commercial and industrial clients with supplier coordination, materials planning, compliance records, logistics updates, and day to day operational control.

We are looking for a Chemical Operations Manager who can oversee daily chemical supply activity and help ensure that processes, records, people, and service delivery remain safe, organised, and compliant. You are not just managing schedules; you are supporting operational standards, improving workflows, coordinating teams, and helping maintain reliable service across materials handling, supplier communication, and client support.

You will work closely with procurement, logistics, compliance, warehouse support, suppliers, and management teams to make sure operational information is accurate, issues are followed up quickly, and safety related processes are handled responsibly.

Key Responsibilities:

Chemical Operations Management: Oversee daily chemical supply operations, including materials coordination, supplier updates, logistics planning, compliance records, and operational follow up.

Team Coordination: Support and guide operations, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to make sure priorities are clear and tasks are completed on time.

Compliance Support: Maintain accurate records for safety documentation, handling procedures, supplier information, delivery updates, and operational checks.

Supplier and Client Communication: Work professionally with suppliers, carriers, clients, and internal teams to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain reliable communication.

Process Improvement: Review workflows, identify delays or repeated issues, and recommend practical improvements to strengthen safety, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

Reporting: Prepare operational summaries, compliance updates, supplier notes, issue logs, and management reports to support decision making.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience: Previous experience in chemical operations, industrial supply, procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, compliance support, or materials management is required.

Leadership: You are comfortable guiding teams, setting priorities, resolving operational issues, and maintaining clear standards during busy periods.

Operational Awareness: You understand supplier coordination, materials movement, safety documentation, stock records, delivery planning, and the importance of accurate compliance records.

Communication Skills: You can write clear updates, speak professionally, and coordinate confidently with suppliers, clients, team members, and management.

Tooling: You are comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, supplier records, inventory trackers, compliance documents, and basic business systems.

Mindset: You are organised, safety aware, practical, and calm under pressure. You know how to prioritise urgent issues, support your team, and keep chemical operations moving responsibly.

Pay: £4,500.00-£6,000.00 per month
