We are a multi Award Winning studio, The Pilates Movement is one of Surrey's leading specialist Reformer Pilates companies, with four beautiful studios in Ashtead, Guildford, Godalming, Farnham and launching soon in Woking.

As we continue to expand, we're looking for an exceptional individual to become the Studio Lead across our Woking and Ashtead studios. It is approximately 25-30 mins drive between studios.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a teaching position.
We're looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career within a growing business, someone who enjoys helping peers, takes pride in delivering exceptional member experiences and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of The Pilates Movement.
You'll be the face of our Woking and Ashtead studios, having autonomy but also working closely with the owners and marketing team to drive member satisfaction, studio performance and continued growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Coaching
- Teach approximately 20 Reformer Pilates classes per week across our Woking and Ashtead studios (typically around 10 classes at each studio).
- Deliver outstanding coaching to members of all abilities.
- Conduct 2 Personal Training sessions within your salaried hours.
- Maintain consistently high coaching standards and class quality.
Leadership
- Lead and inspire a team of instructors across both studios.
- Mentor and support new instructors as they develop.
- Help maintain consistency in coaching standards and member experience.
- Foster a positive, energetic and supportive team culture.
Studio Growth
- Be the face of both studios and help create thriving communities.
- Work alongside our Marketing Growth Manager to support local marketing initiatives.
- Assist with social media content and community engagement.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that help grow memberships and improve the member journey.
Operations
- Ensure both studios are presented to the highest standard at all times.
- Manage stock levels and day-to-day studio operations.
- Hold regular team meetings and communicate company objectives.
- Attend weekly strategy meetings with the business owners to review KPIs, studio performance and future opportunities.
- Occasionally visit our other studios to mentor instructors and help maintain coaching excellence across the business.
About You
You'll be passionate about helping people move better and genuinely enjoy developing others.
Ideally you'll have:
- Qualified Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor certification (ESSENTIAL)
- At least three years' experience within the fitness or Pilates industry.
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy, movement and exercise programming.
- Natural leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, positive and solution-focused attitude.
- Confidence using social media and understanding how it supports business growth.
- Previous management or leadership experience is desirable but not essential.

Package
- Base Salary of £47.5k
- OTE and increase salary with 1-2-1’s or class cover outside of hours
- Annual Leave and other entitlements as expected in a salaried role and not available with Free Lance work
