We're looking for a Test Engineer to join our highly skilled Test Team, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring our advanced, high-tech systems are fully tested, fault-free, and ready for customers around the world.

As a Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for testing and validating complex systems to the highest quality standards. Working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams, you'll ensure products meet customer expectations and are delivered on time.
- Test and deliver fully functional products in accordance with established test procedures.
- Take ownership of allocated products and proactively drive issue resolution.
- Accurately complete all test documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Diagnose and resolve faults down to component level.
- Consistently achieve production and testing targets.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce test times and improve efficiency.
- Drive product quality improvements through effective fault reporting and FRACAS data capture.
- Work closely with the Test Team Leader to support on-time delivery against manufacturing schedules.
- Promote and maintain high standards of Health & Safety, quality, cleanliness, and 5S practices.
- Support customer factory acceptance visits and demonstrations.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites to support installation and commissioning activities.
- Completed an Electrical Apprenticeship, City & Guilds Part 3 qualification, or hold an HNC/HND/BTEC Level 3 (Electrical).
- Strong ability to follow detailed test procedures and accurately record results.
- Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills to component level.
- Understanding of quality processes and Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good IT skills and confidence using electronic systems and documentation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and driven to deliver results.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality.
- A continuous improvement approach and willingness to challenge existing processes.
- Flexibility to travel when required.
This role operates on a rotating shift pattern, consisting of:
- Four 8-hour shifts per week
- One 5-hour shift per week
Current shift patterns include:
- Early Shift: From 06:00 to 14:00
- Afternoon Shift: From 14:00 to 22:00
