Overview:

Are you a creative and innovative Senior Product Designer looking to make a real impact? Join the Boots Online Doctor team in Islington, where your design expertise will help shape the future of healthcare services. At Boots, we believe in building a brilliant environment for our people, empowering you to make a difference for our customers and colleagues every day.

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing our design system, ensuring global consistency across our products. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers to implement designs efficiently while keeping abreast of new patterns and trends to enhance user experience. You'll create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for stakeholder presentations and user testing.

Key responsibilities:

Nurture and develop our design system as the organisations main point of contact, maintaining global consistency across our products and collaborating with engineers to ensure implementation and efficiency.
Keep abreast of new patterns and trends to ensure we are providing the best user experience possible.
Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for stakeholder presentation and user testing.
Partner with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented as intended.
Plan and participate in user interviews and testing, summarising pain points and areas of improvement with colleagues in line with product roadmaps.
Work alongside team members on data point gathering and assets for A/B testing.

What you’ll need to have:

Strong experience creating and maintaining design systems and token libraries.
Expert knowledge of Figma (auto layout, components, variables, Make).
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and mobile (iOS/Android) constraints.
A strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving skills.
Experience designing digital products.
Comfortable giving and receiving constructive design feedback.

It would be great if you also have:

Experience in user research and testing methodologies.
Familiarity with accessibility standards in design.
